“A Million Matches” is a Toronto based NEW personalized introduction service specializing in introducing our girlfriends to great guys ready for committed, long-term relationships. Amelia Phillips-Lewis and husband, Gary, run “A Million Matches”.

Amelia graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto at Trinity College before going on to earn a Juris Doctor under a $30,000 private scholarship. She has a diversity of work experience that spans from researching and writing features in a national magazine to researching and writing funding grants that have secured tens of thousands of dollars for local and international charities. Amelia also served as student editor to her law school journal.

Amelia’s advocacy skills have allowed her to travel internationally as a student competitor and as a judicial clerk for an international tribunal. Amelia has also been heavily involved in political advocacy. She started at age 14 as a youth advisor to Toronto City Council and, seven years later, went on to found and preside over a branch of the Ontario Liberal Party.

After law school, Amelia worked at the law firm of McCarthy Tétrault LLP in Toronto and made firm history by litigating before the Superior Court while still a student. She not only won, but her advocacy shed light on an underdeveloped area of Ontario’s civil procedure laws.

In 2007, Amelia married her high-school boyfriend, Gary (who she’s been sweet on since she was in pigtails). They played the parts of Mary and Joseph in the Sunday School Christmas Program when they were 8 and 11 years-old respectively!
