The “Youth Honoring Community Achievements” (YHCA) is a Toronto youth-led research program to identify and recognize community leaders, to develop intergenerational connections, increase youth exposure to supportive networks and provide opportunities for youth to learn about community programs. They are presenting a series called “Elders and Youth – Reasoning”.
On Friday, February, 18, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 2975 Don Mills Road (http://maps.google.ca/maps?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hl=en&tab=wl, 2nd floor of the Oriole Community Centre), YHCA is holding a round table discussion for and by youth and elders, “YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW: THE STORY OF AFRICAN CONNECTIONS”.
