Andrew Mahorn assistant director of the Canadian Black Film Festival. He was born in Tornto and is 27 years and married with a child. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His journey in the world of film started in Communication Technology class in Grade 10.
Andrews spend some time talking about his parents reaction to him wanting to pursue his passion, what was it like being one of the few Black students wanting to get into film production and the business of the film industry, why made his career move before he finished school and the story behind the Canadian Black Film Festival which started in 2009.
Andrew then provides an overview of each movie playing during “Gospel Fest On Film” and how are things are going with the event.
