Jason Creed is one of the participants in the “Stand Up Young For Men Of Colour Conference” which is being at Geroge Brown College (Downtown Campus) in Toronto, Ontario on May 2, 2012. Jason a youth worker in the “Pathways To Education” program and father of four children. Jason was born and raised in the Regent Park which is low income projects area of Toronto.
Jason discusses many subjects during the show including what is like growing up fatherless and a twin in Regent Park, how having children was a key turning point in his life, his memory of first meeting and his respect for one of the conference organizers, Ainsworth Morgan, how he got involved in the Stand Up Conference For Young Men Of Colour, what impact he wants to leave on young men of colour and his call to action when it comes to young men of colour.
