Scott Mendelson is a longtime box office analysis and film critic who currently writes for Forbes.com. He has plied the trade professionally and informally for nearly ten years, while studying the industry for over twenty-five years going back to his childhood and extending through college and adulthood. He lives in southern California and is married with two kids and a third on the way. Scott specializes in box office punditry, marketing analysis, and film criticism.
