Nicole Myers is a lawyer with the Ministry of the Attorney General and Director with the Black Female Lawyers Network.
Nicole was a summer student at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer where she facilitated multiple modernization projects on diversity & inclusivity, youth engagement and public education; former research assistant to David Tanovich at Windsor Law and was a Student Director of the Law Enforcement Accountability Project, leading four research teams on systemic issues relating to policing and Charter issues.
Nicole is an executive member of the Black Female Lawyers Network.
During our conversation, Nicole talked about:
– Some of background including having the vision to be a lawyer at a very young age
– Her journey to becoming a lawyer
– The history of the Black Female Lawyers Network and how she got involved
– Their annual retreat agenda which is being held this year on November 11, 2015
