Aleasa Word (aka Mz. Word) is an author, speaker, emotional intelligence coach and small business transition consultant. Her professional focus is on interpersonal growth, self acceptance, conflict solutions, diversity strategies and behavioral analysis for effectiveness. Her most recent work has given life to facilitation of work with Coach Diversity Institute of Washington DC as well as facilitating in person workshops for the emotional intelligence platform Seeking Refuge and virtual remembrance events Worldwide Love Remembers Day that has now spread to partnerships in countries as far as the UK, Turkey, France, Syria, Dubai and Australia. She currently resides in Atlanta where she also assists with the compassionate cities group Compassionate Atlanta a leg of the International Charter for Compassion as a board member working on their diversity community and racial harmony initiatives. She has offices in Delaware and Atlanta and has had work published on the Good Men Project, Yahoo, Babble, BLC Life, Uptown Magazine and more.
