Alfonzo Porter from St. Louis and grew up in poverty. Alfonzo was raised by a single mother who raised six children on her own. He graduated from BA in Journalism and Public Relations and has a Masters in Educational Policy. He then became a high school teacher and pricipal and started an educational consulting company that lasted for eleven years. Since leaving the teaching profession, Alfonzo has launched a educational publishing company.
