Ms. Berylanne Lynch talks about Black Consciousness.
Born and raised in Zion, Illinois, Berylanne graduated from Illinois State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in theatre management and stage directing. She also obtained a Master’s in written communication from National Louis University, Chicago. Out of Range is Berylanne’s directional short film debut. She has assisted directed and played as an extra for numerous stage plays, music videos, and short films. She has directed and produced her first play, The UnderGround Effect, at Gorilla Tango Theatre Chicago produced Outfit, a home-made documentary film that explores vintage fashion. She has launched her very own production business in 2013, B-Anne Productions. Her current film, Secret Desire, is a 1950’s vintage inspired film. She is also a passionate advocate for the Black community, with a focus on relationships, family, Black education, Black entertainment, and Black consciousness. In her spare time she enjoys vintage hairstyling, pin up modeling, shopping, and of course – writing stage plays and screenplays.
