They talked about Black legacies in Canada including:
– The deserving ancestors and elements of Black consciousness
– Black legacies and the influence of The United States
– Who is to blame for the lack of knowledge of Canadian Black legends
– Advancing human rights and showcasing Black excellence
– Voting for someone not just because it benefits YOU
– To what extent are you comfortable being black? Do you change your identity based on the people you are around or does your fist stay up no matter who you are around or what environment you are in?
– You are making your Black Legacy every day and thinking in terms of every choice we make matters
– All shades and intersectionalities of black are breathing in the rear view of our ancestors. Change has been made but needs to continuously be made for a better future
