Black Canada Talking™ is a live online event that provides Black Canadians opportunity to give their takes and POVs on stories that are of importance to them.
On the September 12, 2021 of Black Canada Talking™, the guest was Tarig Abdellatief. Tarig is the President/Proposal & Funding Specialist at Arctech Accelerate.
Launched in 2018 in the nation’s capital, Arctech Accelerate is a national leader in the grant writing, business development, and lobbying sectors, representing organizations across a variety of industries. – What is a lobbyist and what does a lobbyist do
– The early days of Arctech and reaching the company’s ten year goal in five years and how was this accomplished
– His thoughts on the role out of some of the grant programs to Black Canadian entrepreneurs by the Canadian federal government
– The steps that a company goes through in wanting to acquire a Canadian federal government grant
– His company’s ability to help Black Canadian entrepreneurs get money from the federal government
– The Canadian government needing to manage the grant process better
– Some advice to Black Canadian entrepreneurs who are applying for grants
