Wisdom is a social audio app which connects knowledge-seekers to mentors.
Dayo Akinrinade is the founder of the Wisdom social audio app.
Dayo started as an IT Management Consultant at Accenture and Deloitte. Then, driven by the lack of diversity in London’s tech ecosystem, she joined the founding team of OneTech, London’s largest diversity in startups programme, backed by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.
Subsequently, after spotting a gap in the market, she went on to found Africlick, a cultural dating app targeting 1 billion Africans globally.
In 2019 she was named in the Financial Times Top 100 Most Influential Ethnic Minority Leaders in Tech. She has spoken on panels and lectured on diversity in technology at various organisations including, the UK Govt Department for International Development, Uber, Google and Oxford Said Business School. Her projects have been mentioned in publications including Forbes, CityAM and the Evening Standard.
Dayo holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and a M.Sc. in Technology from University College London.
Wisdom’s mission is to democratize access to mentoring.
Wisdom lets you talk live with experts on dozens of topics like wellness, business, food and fitness.
The sessions you record on Wisdom can also be downloaded for use on your podcast. Many podcasters also find it a great way to meet and connect with guests.
