On this month’s “What Kind of Man Do You Want To Be” Google Live Hangout, Marie Roker-Jones and Dr. Vibe will be speaking with Gordon Braxton and Suzanne Casamento live tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific via Google Hangout about gender based violence and how to speak our sons and daughters about healthy relationships, dating and sexual violence. We’ll also address bystanders syndrome and how to empower them to speak up.
Gordon Braxton is a 2002 graduate of the University of Virginia and a 2008 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He started speaking on sexual violence prevention as an undergraduate peer educator. He then spent the first decade of his professional career working as a public speaker on violence awareness and as a prevention specialist on college campuses. Suzanne Casamento is a writer and author of the novel, Fingerprints which addresses an abusive teen relationship.
