In March 2009, President Obama signed an Executive Order creating the White House Council on Women and Girls. “The purpose of this Council is to ensure that American women and girls are treated fairly in all matters of public policy,” said President Obama. Today, Dr. Warren Farrell is leading the charge of a new proposal, to create a White House Council On Boys To Men.
On the most recent edition of the White House Council On Boys To Men podcast, Glenn Barker and Dr. Marvin Thompson spoke about the most recent events in Baltimore and how the five components of the council (education, emotional Health, fatherlessness, phsycial Health and jobs) exist in Baltimore and many American cities and suggestion for the council on how to address these issues.
