Linkedin holds a doctorate in Adult Education and Community Development from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. She specializes in school improvement and effectiveness approaches. She has worked at various levels of the education system in Jamaica which has helped her to acquire a heightened appreciation of the complex nature of teaching and learning in the classroom and the wider education system in Jamaica. This has allowed her to better address the challenges of developing and implementing system-wide change. She has employed her skills successfully in conducting mixed-method research, data and policy analyses that has equipped her with an evidence-based approach to design, implement, and evaluate projects for impact, and preparing research reports and presentations. She is a sought-after subject-matter specialist who has advised a wide cross-section of stakeholders in the education sector, including the Ministry of Education, the Caribbean Research Policy Institute, UNICEF and the Inter-American Development Bank.

She currently works as the Manager for Research, Projects and Operations for the Leadership By Design Program, the signature program for the Lifelong Leadership Institute. The Lifelong Leadership Institute (LLI) is an educational organization that provides innovative leadership development to Canadian youth of Jamaican, African-Caribbean and Black heritage, so that they may fulfill their personal and professional ambitions, provide inspiring leadership to their communities and country, and make this world a better place for all.
