There is no other one day youth conference where you can get professional photos of your product shot and edited in the same day, coaching from marketing experts, meet business professionals from across the Greater Toronto Area, hear inspiring speakers and network with other young professionals.
On Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the North York Civic Centre in Toronto; Community Empowering Enterprise, Access Alliance and their community partners present Branded Youth Marketing Conference. Branded is all about giving young entrepreneurs real tools that can improve their marketing plans right away. Branded aims to build the skills, marketing resources and networks of young entrepreneurs from Toronto’s priority neighborhoods, focused on supporting African Canadian and Newcomer youth.
Branded welcomes keynote speakers d’bi Young, dub artist and Dione Walcott of Toronto Loves Kicks along with a group of talented professionals who will be Consultants and Mentors for the participants during the conference.
Branded 2014 will feature one-to-one consultation on the following subjects:
– Social Media Marketing
– Brand building business writing
– Developing a Press Kit
– Million Dollar Pitch
– A full photography studio for head shots and product photos
In addition a networking lunch with business professional and keynotes from established entrepreneurs and marketing experts.
Kofi Hope appeared on our show to talk about the conference. During our conversation, Kofi talked about:
– Some background on the conference and what it is all about
– Some of his memories from last year’s conference
– Some of the challenges that some of Toronto’s young black entrepreneurs face
