In honor of International Men’s Day, Marie Roker-Jones and myself are focusing on bringing awareness to the emotional and mental well-being of boys and men.
According to the World Health Organization, “Males are four times more likely to die from suicide than are females.”
Boys and men are less likely to ask for help or talk about depression or thoughts of suicide.
