Having launched Fishing with the Father and begun work on a documentary titled What Is Love: A Documentary, Raine Wheat has embarked on a mission to engage people in the active pursuit of making the world more loving and suitable. Through film, writing and acting, she hopes to increase faith in the individual as well as humanity as a whole. As an actress, she’s played lead roles in Suzan-Lori Parks’ In the Blood, George C. Wolfe’s The Colored Museum and Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf. Such powerful works have taught her, art is a medium inspiring individuals and creating unity. The world’s special way of critiquing with love, when taken seriously, art not only transforms the audience, but powerfully transforms the artist.
Ms. Wheat will be live on our show today at 5 p.m. Eastern/2 p.m. Pacific. She will discussing a number of subjects including her recent article, Does the U.S. really believe #Alllivesmatter: Examining incarceration rates.
All you need to do to watch the live is to go to The Dr. Vibe Show™ today at 5 p.m. Eastern/2 p.m. Pacific.
