In March 2009, President Obama signed an Executive Order creating the White House Council on Women and Girls. “The purpose of this Council is to ensure that American women and girls are treated fairly in all matters of public policy,” said President Obama. Today, Dr. Warren Farrell is leading the charge of a new proposal, to create a White House Council on Boys to Men.
Glenn Barker, Dr. Marvin Thompson and Dr. Vibe will be speaking with Dr. Molly K. Olson, co-founder and President of Leading Women for Shared Parenting live tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific about the Proposal for a White House Council on Boys and Men.
Leading Women For Shared Parenting is an international child advocacy organization with but one objective: the use of a rebuttable presumption of Shared Parenting as the standard in Family Law.

A rebuttable presumption of equal parenting must be legalized. The sexist results against men of the current family law process is dramatically hurting families, and it disrupts the potential for a healthy environment to encourage cooperative co-parenting and minimize conflict. I say this as a young child of divorce in 1973, whose mother had sole custody and marginalized my father out of my life, and now as a divorced father, whose ex-spouse tried to marginalize me out of my childrens’ lives by legal bullying. I cannot begin to describe the unnecessary and avoidable harm the US family law process has caused me personally and to which now my children are affected.
Thank you, Molly, Glenn, Drs. T. & Vibe, for a program I wish all our legislators could hear. Our children keep paying the price for our bad decisions. May we soon change that in our state legislatures by making “rebuttable presumed shared parenting” the standard in family law to keep BOTH parents involved in more kids’ lives. Let us ALL advocate for our kids & for our common good.
Hello Sheila. Thanks so much for the positive feedback. It is appreciated and not taken for granted.
