This year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) runs from September 4 to September 14.

We had the opportunity to speak with Rasha Salti (International Programmer – 2014 Toronto International Film Festival) and Shaka Licorish (Programming Associate​: Festival Programming​- 2014 Toronto International Film Festival) about the African and racialized Films showing at this year’s TIFF.

During our conversation, they talked about:

– How did each of them get involved with TIFF
– Rasha talks about how Africa is changing
– They each talk about some of the African and diaspora films being featured at this year’s TIFF
