As a young man, Samuel William Burwell spent most of his time on set on set of his father’s radio show; watching as his father wrote, edited and produced his own content, all based on serving others. The youngest of six children, Sam inquired of his siblings their Father’s mission for creating the radio show. One answer stood out: To leave a legacy. Samuel’s father accomplished just that. Becoming a loving husband and father of two, Sam found himself not only adding value to his family, but also to those around him. His passion for helping others remain inspired became a part of his life. Pushing to find a way to dive into serving others, Sam decided to tap into his Father’s legacy. Operating within his unique ability to bring people together, Sam created Diamond Mind Results to provide a space for others to speak their truth while encouraging others. Understanding that adding value to others is what he is called to do, Sam has established a way to keep his father’s legacy alive.

Recently, Samuel was on Dads Talking™.

During our conversation, Samuel talked about:

– Growing up and his relationship with his father, the passing of his mother at a young age and the experiences he had growing up with a single father
– The lessons his father has instilled into him and how he dealt with his fathers passing in 2019
– The radio shows his father worked on and created, and how he carried on his fathers legacy
– His aspirations growing up and his early career path
– How he met his wife and how he knew she was the one
– Fatherhood, his experiences as a father, his sons and the naming his sons
– First time fathers and compares parenting now versus when he was a father for the first time
– The hardest times he’s faced as a parent and the happiest moments he’s had as a father
– Things he hopes to experience later in life and how he would like to be remembered
– A message that he has for fathers
