Stewart Thompson came to The Gatehouse five years ago as a participant. One year later, he started facilitating leading me in to public speaking, giving his story to unlock the door beyond sexual abuse as well.
He has taken part in a documentary film luminating the light for survivors of sexual abuse which is to be released soon.
Stewart has a Web based radio show Personal Transformation that is on every Thursday for just over a year now.
At The Gatehouse, he facilitates both men’s groups and co ed groups.
During our conversation, Stewart talked about:
– His life growing up in a broken home and many places in Canada and being sexually abused by non-family members
– His troubled childhood while being raised by his grandparents
– When did he start to let go of the shame and anger
– What brought him to The Gatehouse
