Black Daddies Club – The Black Family Values Tour

“The Black Daddies Club Family Values Tour” has been rolling through the Toronto over the past few weeks! During that time, we engaged members of the community and tackled some controversial issues. The Tour has given space for Black men, Black fathers and those who care for and love them to come together and have some real, no-holds-barred talk about matters that are near and dear to us. Let’s keep the momentum going, family!

The upcoming scheduled discussions are as follows:

How is the presence of the father not recognized as being of equal in value to that of the mother in the life of the child? In addition, we will be identifying the factors that may prevent fathers from being present. Opportunities for mentorship and ‘parenting’ the community will also be shared at this session. There will also be a screening of the short film “The Son” from Exousia Media
