Towanna Freeman is the principal consultant for Towanna Freeman & Associates, an active consultancy in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area; the creator of the Black Life Coaches Network, a successful life coach, management consultant, inspirational and motivational speaker and advocate for young women. Freeman conducts workshops and conferences where she imparts a life-changing message that presents hope and inspiration. She is the co-author of an award winning book, Purposeful Action, 7 Steps to Fulfillment, which reveals a seven-step method for identifying and effectively pursuing personal and professional goals.

In 1999, Freeman founded the Young Women’s Empowerment Network designed to help teen girls realize their potential to succeed in life and in 2008 in partnership with her daughter, she launched a new empowerment conference called “GIRL PREP” that is designed for pre-teen girls.

As a much sought after leadership development coach, Freeman delivers custom keynotes, coaching and training programs designed to assist organizations in their efforts to equip their leaders and key contributors with the skills and competencies needed to excel in today’s challenging business environment.

Ms. Freeman, along with two friends of our show, Aleasa Word and Professor JT (hosts of The Professed Word), who are both certified life coaches and regular contributors to the Black Life Coaches Network were on our show talking about the Black Life Coaches Network and life coaching.
