2012 is going to bring some great new features for the listeners of our show. The first new feature is that we are going to have some guests that are going to appear on the show a monthly basis.
The first monthly guest that we would like to share with you is Kenya Williams.
Known to many as “godsbutterfly,” Kenya Williams is no stranger to navigating tough topics. Getting to the heart of the matter while providing probing insights gained from her varied personal experiences is one of Kenya’s many talents. As a certified self-care coach and post abortion counseling and education group facilitator, Kenya is adept at helping others raise the shade to look at things in a new light. A life-long lover of stimulating conversation, she is consistent in her ability to share of herself, while empowering others.
Kenya is a contributing author to the “Gumbo for the Soul” Literacy Anthology series. Her brand of warmth, humor and no nonsense “Kenya-isms” are now empowering a world-wide audience.
When she isn’t enjoying her favorite guilty pleasures of reading all things Beverly Jenkins, a good margarita or creating waist beads (another way she empowers women), Kenya enjoys time spent in nature where quiet reflection is used for “refueling.” Kenya lives in Oakland, CA, where she owns and operates two successful businesses and is the proud mother of one daughter.
