As we mentioned a few days ago, we said that there there was a possibility that we would be giving free tickets to see some of the African and Black/Diaspora films being shown at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Here we go!! We have free tickets to view “The Education Of Auma Obama” today at 2:15 p.m. For more information about the movie, please click on the following link: http://tiff.net/filmsandschedules/tiff/2011/educationofaumaobama. Branwen Okpako’s “The Education of Auma Obama” is a captivating and intimate portrait of the U.S. president’s older half-sister, who embodies a post-colonial, feminist identity.
All you need to do is email us at info@blackcanadianman.com and put “The Education Of Auma Obama” in the subject line. The tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. Ticket winners will need to make arrangements to meet us at the theatre before the show starts to pick up their tickets.
Please follow us on Twitter @vibeandvegas, at our Facebook Fan Page and here at our podcast site for more ticket giveaways. Thanks to TIFF for making this happen. It is appreciated and not taken for granted.
Please feel free to email us at info@blackcanadianman.com.
