Recently, we had the opportunity to attend the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) of Toronto event, “Distinguished Men Of Honour”.
Before the start of this event, we had the opportunity to interview Farley Flex.
Farley is one of the most recognizable Black Canadian male faces today.
Farley has been actively developing the urban music market since the mid-1980’s. He began as a concert promoter and artist manager, managing Canada’s most successful solo rap artist, Maestro.
Farley has also spent time on the FACTOR (Foundation To Assist Canadian Talent On Record) board, helping Canadian artists with financial assistance in the recording of music. He was also involved at the board level at the Canadian Independent Record Producers Association (CIRPA), which is the trade association representing the independent sector of the Canadian music and sound industry. Farley is also the principal founder of the Plasma Corporation, a music and media company based in Toronto, Ontario. With Plasma, Farley currently has in development various projects for television and film. Enjoy!!
