Scarborough (co-star and co-producer) and Roger Dundas (co-producer) of the play, “Single Black Female” which is in Toronto from March 13 – March 21 at the Toronto Centre For The Arts: George Weston Recital Hall (5040 Yonge Street at Sheppard, www.tocentre.com). “Single Black Female” is a two woman show with rapid fire comic vignettes that explore the lives of of these hip ladies as they search for love, clothes, and dignity. The pIay is directed by Martin Damien Wilkins and stars Candice McKoy as SBF1 (Single Black Female 1) and Janel C. Scarborough as SBF2 (Single Black Female 2).
The last three Toronto performances are on Friday March 19th at 8 p.m., Saturday March 20th at 5 p.m and Sunday March 21st at 5 p.m.
The ticket prices are $30 in advance, $40 the day of the show and there is a $5 off the ticket price for students and seniors. Part of the proceeds are donated to various women’s charitable organizations.
