We hope that you are enjoying Black/African History Month!!
In this episode, we bring you a special episode!!!
One of the show’s best and good friends is Anthony Mair of Harlem Underground Restaurant. Both of Harlem’s locations have host many of our podcasts. We appreciate their support and don’t take it for granted.
Recently, Anthony told us about Clarence Haynes, a gentleman that I had to meet who is ninety-two years old. He gave me his email address and suggested that we send him an email. We wondered when he would respond. Well, Mr. Haynes responded in less than five hours. Wow!! Then, Mr. Haynes sent me an email asking me if I would be a friend on his “Facebook” page. What?
Well, you know after all of this that we had to interview Mr. Haynes. What an experience meeting listening, speaking with and sharing with him!!! Mr. Haynes is part of Canadian history. He has so many great things during his journey. One of these was part of the legendary “Underground Railroad Restaurant” in Toronto during the 1970’s.
One of the many wonderful things that came out of this interview was that we were finally able to get Anthony Mair in front of the mic after two years of asking him for an interview.
While Mr. Haynes talks about some of his restaurant experiences during this episode, there are many nuggets that are useful for everyday life.

If you would like to get in contact with Mr. Haynes, please send an email to our contact email address at info@blackcanadianman.com and we will forward the email to him.
We were so blessed to have Mr. Haynes on our program. He provides wisdom, knowledge, encouragement, enlightenment and empowerment. Don’t worry, we have some more shows with him coming up!!!
God bless, peace, be well and keep the faith,

Thanks for the opportunity to share parts of my interesting life so far. Meeting ANTHONY made me feel happy to meet a person that was so inspired to start a path of their own rather than follow the crowd Our continued association will encourage young people,if they beleive, they will achieve, and dont let ANYTHING OR ANYONE spoil your DREAMS. DONT WORRY ABOUT KNOWING PEOPLE – JUST BE A PERSON WORTH KNOWING.. In our next interview,I will tell you why SOUL IN CANADA, was formed and being called TORONTO’S SOUL AMBASSADOR. If you see someone without a SMILE, give them one of yours. AMIGO
I think you did an amazing interview with Clarence Haynes. I work with Clarence and he has changed my life imensely in the 6 months I have known him. He is an awesome human being and one person who means the world to me. He has mentored over 5000 diabetics and he is truly an amazing role model to diabetics and to every one he knows. I thank God every day for putting Clarence in my life and we have a journey ahead of us that is truly going to be amazing. I’m sure your viewers truly enjoyed listening to this interview with hopefully more interviews to come.
